Meng Jiao And Buddhism

Meng Jiao is one of the representative writers of Han Meng Poets, while his social intercourse and poetry composition have associated with Buddhism. By the means of Close Reading and Comprehensive analysis, this article, focuses on Meng Jiao’s poems, wants to specifically discuss the relationship between Meng Jiao and Buddhism. It aims at promoting the development of the study on Meng Jiao. The thesis is divided into three chapters:The Chapter 1 investigates the temple that Meng Jiao had been seen. It contains two sections with the purpose of reappearing the view that Meng Jiao had seen in the catital cities and Jiangnan region.The Chapter 2 probes into Meng Jiao’s companionship with buddhist. It is divided into two sections by the investigation of this buddhist and their faction, to master Meng Jiao’ origin of Buddhism.The Chapter 3 discusses the relationship between Meng Jiao’s poem and Buddhism. It mainly launches from four aspects to discuss the Buddhist influence on poem creations: Ku-yin and duhkha-satya, the subjective tendency and the Buddhist view of temperament, the queer images and the painting of Buddhist temple, the repetitive sentences and the program of Gatha.
