| On November 6,1902, the Italian composer Cilea’s opera "Adriana Lecouvreur" premiered in Milan, which is one of the most famous work of his opera creations. "Io sono l’umile ancella" is a very beautiful aria in the opera, and is also the most classical one and welcomed by numerous Sopranos at home and abroad. In this article, I starts from the main body of Cilea’s music and the creation backgroud of his masterpiece "Io sono l’umile ancella", and analyses the aria singing with my own experience acquired in vocal recital concerts and my understanding of the opera. |
