Yun Jing has Volume five.It was written in Jiajing seventeen years(1538). Its editor is Zhang Zhixiang.The book contains two parts,one is the rhyme of Chinese ancient versification, and the other is the rhyme of Chinese modem versification.The rhyme of ancient versification is creative in spite of it in large extent carries on Wu Yu’s Yun Bu and Yang Shen’s Zhuan Zhu Gu Yin Lue.It is based on the Shi Yun and Combined with the actual speech,its rhyme part is one hundred and sixteen.It is very meaningful that studying on such a book to complete phonology studies of the Ming Dynasty and the whole study of the history of Chinese phonology.Many methods which combined with internal analysis and historical comparison,Perspective separation and digital statistics are used to focus on analyzing the Tong Zhuan,Xie and Zhuan Zhu of Yun Jing.And It compared with the Yun Bu and Zhuan Zhu Gu Yin Lue.It also clear up the phonetic system which reflected by the rhymes of modern versification,and compared with the Ping Shui Yun. Then,it come to the conclusion that the rhymes of Chinese ancient versification cut and change Wu Yu’s Yun Bu and Yang Shen’s Zhuan Zhu Gu Yin Lue.The rhymes of Chinese modem versification base on Ping Shui Yun, and largely together with the actual speech of the Ming Dynasty,and it includes ancient speech and modem speech.
