| BAIZI Dragon Lantern Dance, as the guard’s entertainment performance in royal mausoleum of Qing dynasty, has existed for more than 300 years. It uses dragon’s body as basic Chinese characters strokes, and dragon’s body is supported by human, become one with human, to show the essence and connotation of Chinese characters, it’s loved by folk artists and common people. And it is in the national intangible cultural heritage list. So this article which is based on field investigation to BAIZI Dragon Lantern Dance, has very highly study significance and value.This article has 4 chapters, chapter 1 introduce the historical evolution of BAIZI Dragon Lantern Dance. Chapter 2 is the main part of the dissertation; emphatically analyze the artistic characteristics of BAIZI Dragon Lantern Dance. Chapter 3 is comparative study to traditional ceremony and modern performance, and in-depth analyze it. Chapter 4 mainly research to the artistic value, inheritance and protection of BAIZI Dragon Lantern Dance. |
