As a code of body standard, the behaving etiquette is a important portion of the culture about antique etiquettes. It strictly, systematically expain the unique notion that cultivating one’s physical and moral characters of china’s traditional culture, the ancients of chinese people just through the way of behaving etiquette show their own morality and body beauty. Whether as a carrier to inheritting traditional culture,or as reference to cultivate social morality, the behaving etiquette of ancient China contains massive modern value. This paper will take “The book of Rites” as the main text, take the culture of Han nationality as the center, and is divided into three parts to study the ancient behaving etiquette.Firstly,introducing the origin of the etiquette culture and the generation of the behaving etiquette,exploring how the behaving etiquette to be gradually generated. Secondly,making a speciphic description about the basic behaving etiquette related to sitting,walking and the behaving etiquette in the specific social scene,investigating the practice of the behaving etiquette in “The book of Rites”.Finally, analysising of the historical status of the behaving etiquette,then explore the modern value its contains, including cultural value and the function of social practice.
