The Influence Of The Etiquette And Culture On The Heritage Of Clothing And Accessory

This paper starts from the research about the characteristic of the etiquette and custom culture and dress to find out their social and cultural functions. As a means of maintaining the etiquette and customs, dress can create atmosphere, enlighten and admonish others and divide the social layers. Meanwhile, dress needs etiquette and custom to express itself and it shows its collective values. Dress culture is penetrated into Chinese emotions, customs, esthetic appeal, moral climate and social systems. The continuation of dress character is affected by etiquette and custom. The dress and etiquette and custom depend on each other and cannot be separated.In this paper the related domestic articles and works of dress history concerning ancient times, dress system and etiquette and custom culture were studied. Based on the systemic research of the dress characteristics and the etiquette and custom culture characteristics, the influence of the etiquette and custom on dress style continuation was further expatiated. In this paper, it is also proved that the etiquette and custom culture has such functions on the continuation of dress culture as maintenance tradition, limit contents, norm dress behavior.
