The Study Of Chinese Opera Elements In Chinese Costume Drama

Historical contexts of most Chinese costume dramas are set from Qin dynasty to Qing dynasty, while there also exist some historical dramas overlook or make-up the particular period of history. The original source of dramas mostly come from literature works, chapters of dramas, historical events and folk tales. No matter how to draw materials, these dramas intend to seek artistic effects which represented by fine arts’ concepts, music’s classical concepts and linguistic poetic concepts, etc. The nature of historical operas are represented by the combination of the story and tune of the singing,which is the understanding of the life and everything in the world. Chinese costume dramas and operas are common in story narrating, artistic expressing and other synthesis of acting which make it possible to spread Chinese historical drams, based on corresponding operas, effectively among mass media and make it possible to be the products of culture.This essay analyses the opera elements in Chinese costume dramas by six chapter. The first chapter is mainly about the study backgrounds, the status quo, basic thoughts and contents so that revealing the meaning of this essay. The second chapter lays the emphasis on the concept and the development of Chinese historical costume drama and analyses the reason that different artistic characteristics in different development stages.Also, this chapter proposes the problems, which need to be solved in this study. The third chapter expound the development situation of the opera elements in Chinese historical costume dramas and its form of expression and it is the theoretical foundationof how to apply the opera elements in costume dramas. The forth chapter expound the way of applying opera elements in Chinese historical costume and its practical experience by examples. The fifth chapter explores the value of plugging opera elements in costume dramas thereby drawing the major purpose of sixth chapter, which is mainly about the how Chinese historical costume dramas apply the opera elements in culture export.This study organises the law of applying opera elements in Chinese historical costume dramas and analyses its time significance and value so that providing the literary creation and solutions of real problems for these dramas in culture export.
