The Research Of Implication On The Application Of Chinese Folk Elements In The Animation Scene

Chinese traditional folk culture has a long history, a history of five thousand years. From 1950 s to 1960 s, our country had animation works with the characteristics of traditional folk elements, which had reached the major film and television screen at home and abroad, in a word, with local characteristics and national character animation is the essence of a good work. Traditional folk art is the accumulation of historical civilization and spiritual civilization of human beings, therefore, combining China’s traditional folk elements with animation scene design has important theoretical significant and practical value to Chinese animation.Animation scene design is an important component of the animation works. It is often the embodiment of the whole style and the emotions most directly convoyed to audience. Hence, when we are using the animation scene to convey ideas we should put own national characteristics in the writing and creating techniques. Our works should possess national cultural characteristic.This paper selects the application of folk elements in animation scene as a topic. This paper includes five chapters: purpose and meaning of animation scene research, definition and classification of folk element, application of folk elements in animation scene and graduation design. Taken the traditional aesthetics as theoretical basis, we analyze successful cases of classical animation scene design with folk elements. And we understand cultural connotation and characteristics behind the animation scene design.In this paper, we use all sorts of modeling of folk elements as expression of animation scene to reflect the pattern of manifestation of national characteristic and to lead to the application form of folk elements in the animation scene.
