The sense, which bears the directive task of animated visual thinking, is a key visual element in animated audio-visual language. It is decided by the animated sense to a viewer's visual orientation including the creator's acknowledge and creation of the objective world and his observed perception and recreation. It becomes an essential question in the sense design and research how a creator can achieve his goal of such perceived image and information transmission.The essay initially elaborates the fundamental connotation and its effect on the animation sense and explores the importance and requirements of the scene design to the animated films from the concept about the relationship between narrative animation, plot direction, role play, films and artistic style atmosphere. With Rudolf Arnheim's research theory on visual thinking as guidance, the author introduces the research result of psychology in art and film study associated with animation creating the research ideas based on the elucidation and understanding of above theory. It focuses on the combination of animation and visual thoughts emphasizing the pattern of visual representation of animated sense and its principle, as well as its artistic effects with the visual perception. At the same time, it underlines the influence of the sense design from the view of visual perception and overall co-ordination of the sense design and Visual Thinking about the theory of "Field" and "tension" is brought to the animation scene designs, the research on the animated sense design utilizes Gestalt theory on visual components and put visual pattern into research of the animation sense expressiveness, and subsequently, to build theoretical support system with the guidance to the animation sense design, to pluck visual aesthetics of animation sense in nature.The author chooses large quantity of examples of animation films based on the theory researched, categorizes the organizational relationship between the visual perception patterns and animation sense creation. The essay starts from the cognitive function of visual perception to images and ends with the elaboration of the relationship among time and space, artistic effectiveness, creative technique and audience psychology around animation sense, which links the animation sense design and visual thinking theory in one organic whole. In conclusion, there exists the inevitable correspondence between the space expression with its element associated with animation sense and audience's visual perception; Starting with visual psychological point of view in referencing with visual regularity can master the motion perception with a picture composition, color and light and shadow rhythm changes and overall style presentation and graphic emotion expression effectively.The goal of the research is to have a deep and better understanding of the animation sense, to broad the research scope of animation sense design, and have it become the aesthetic instinct media between a creator and his audience, hence, a creator can take effectively control of the visual scene conductivity and creativity, converting static images into dynamic visual arts.
