The Kizil Cave Located in the Xinjiang Aksu Bai county. In 2013,the Institute of Xinjiang Kizil apply the Kizil Cave as United Nations world cultural heritage protection and research projects, Since then get the further attention of the domestic and international cultural heritage institutions.Kizil grottoes diging from third century, then stop digging and begins to decline at eighth century, when begins the introduction of Islam. In the early 19 th century, people found Kizil grottoes site in Kizil, and unearthed some remnants of the buddhist scriptures which have Brahmi and Sanskrit. From then on, the Kizil grottoes began to attract the attention of the scholars at home and abroad. The end of the 19 th century, rise deep exploration boom in central Asia area explorers, such as United Kingdom, Japan, France, Germany, Russia and explorers from other countries and the teams for inspection. The explorer?s precious book, travel notes and memoirs providing important information to history and culture researching works of Kuqa and the surrounding area. Recently, apply the Kizil Cave as the United Nations world cultural heritage protection by Institute of Xinjiang Kizil.Buddhist grottoes is Buddhist temple which is digged in the riverside cliff and originated from India.In China, the construction of cave temples begins in the third century, and gets popularity in 5-8th century, then gradually decline.Before painting must finished the caves and do grass layer on the uneven,then paint Grottoes murals. The coatofcolour ground layer tightly bound to ground layer, generally do not produce flake peeling, but it is inevitable to part peeling.The Cave sites that existing are popular in forms and contents, are the unignorable image materials to the study of Chinese medieval economy, politics, religion, art and engineering aspects, so it is listed as a national, even international cultural relics protection units.This article, In the middle of the 19 th century to the 20 th century, this period with emphasis on the discussion, the kizil grottoes buried foreigners after hundreds of years to be discovered in transcribing all kinds of activities and the impact of the grottoes, and the local government and the local people’s awareness of the kizil grottoes as the research focus.This paper points three chapters the first chapter the introduction, the domestic and foreign research paper, basic document, researchmethods and meaning components. Chapter 2, digging, prosperity and decline process of kizil grottoes is discussed. In the third chapter, Mainly analyzed the explorer, archaeologists in kizil areas of exploration and its influence on society.The fourth chapter is, the government and the local people’s attitude toward kizil grottoes. These at home by activity there is another important problem is the collection of the data at home and abroad on the basis of academic research and research results. About by kizil grottoes site content as the center of all kinds of book s and papers, to commemorate the scholars’ academic seminars, and other related academic activities is also an important content of the impact problem.
