Traditional ceremony carrys the long-established customs,religious beliefs and attitudes of different countries,regions and nationalities. Uyghur is one of the Muslim nations, as the main ethnic of oasis farming culture, its traditional rituals are varied, and full of the national cultural characteristics. Because of its unique geographical location and environment, as well as the unique cultural space, Kashgar carries out the Uyghur culture iconic city. In this paper, by taking a nagra advocating music class of the national heritage in Kashgar named Yakup.Mamattohti for example, and through studying the survival of the status quo of the music class, inheritance patterns and traditional ceremonies in the investigation, to explore the relationships between the culture of Uyghur traditional ceremonies and nagra advocating culture.This paper consists of five parts:Part I: Introduction, describes the purpose and significance of topics, research results, the status quo, research value and the methods.Part II: Explores the living space of nagra advocate in Kashgar Uyghur traditional ceremony music culture, mainly from three aspects elaborate geographical location, local history, religion and so on.Part III: Through the field research of nagra advocating class of "traditional festival ceremony", to explore recent generation’s advocacy music culture and its cultural development model and musical heritage model.Part IV: Through analysing the cultural space of the nagra advocating music of Kashgar "traditional ceremony" music and the field research results, concluding that the research of Kashgar "traditional festival" advocacy music still stays on the surface, and it needs for more in-depth research and analysis in the future.
