Yoosure is an ancient Chinese folk important educational activities, including three main types of activities: the one at school, the one in the way to imperial examinations, and visits.Along with increasingly sophisticated examination system, civilian official and civic education, and the widespread Buddhism and Taoism, the wind of yoosure became widely popular in the lower gentry in the Northern Song Dynasty. And they got active support and funding from relatives and friends, government officials and other members of civil society.Yoosure has become an important part of social life of scholars in the Northern Song Dynasty.First of all, scholars have to face different kinds of accidents in the trips. Due to undeveloped transport, transport facilities and technology, scholars’ journey of yoosure is full of hardships and bitterness. They may be subjected to theaters from disease, ghost and god, bandit and other aspects on the road at any time. So they had to use a variety of ways to actively self-help or rescue. It is a very widespread social phenomenon for scholars to make friends in the process of their yoosure.According to different manners and purposes, they can be divided into three types, such as knowledge groups, powerful groups and wealth groups. Among them, scholars’ friendship was unstable, and they would attack or sell their best learning companions for their political interests. And the building of a network between scholarships and their fiends and mentors has a very significant effect on the formation of school. Simultaneously, hermits were ones of scholars’ main interpersonal objects in process of their yoosure.Furthermore, they met with prostitutes and gremlins in scholars’ emotional world. And their love and marriage also showed new features of instability, utilitarian and limited autonomy and so on. On the one hand, scholars who were away from their homes secretly decided their marriage in the absence of “parental consent”. And on the other hand, scholars’ yoosure also made some impacts and influences on their existing marriage and family relations.
