The Study On The Attempt And Failure Of Lesbian Subject Construction In Qiu Miaojin’s Novels

The thesis tries to cover and center on all homosexual novels written by QIU Miaojin,a Taiwan writer.Integrated with the formation and development of Taiwan lesbian writings,the thesis explores the questions of how the lesbian subjects are identified by the heterosexual society,how the subjects position themselves,and how the subjects fight against the oppression from the social mechanism.The thesis also studies on QIU’s struggle with the oppression from her birth to death and thereby criticizes the social discrimination.What’s more,the thesis interprets the special symbols and homosexual images in QIU’s works, during which introduce the discussion about "T/P".Through the study,the concepts of fluid sexuality,gender pluralism are elaborated,the construction of a full experience of all lesbian subjects in QIU’s novels is completed, and the writing strategies of QIU are analyzed.Try to talk about the attempt and failure of lesbian subject construction in QIU’s novels.
