"C minor Third Piano Concerto" is Beethoven’s five piano concertos in the nexus of a masterpiece,and also the only one in which he used minor totality. This piano concerto broke the mode of the classical stylized authoring mode, developing a new concerto genre and innovative aspects of piano playing techniques. This concerto is an iconic work evolving from his early style to a much mature style. displaying his unsurpassed creativity, opening a new era of Romantic music."C minor Third Piano Concerto" as a song in the creation of innovative features and breakthrough technology, has its historic status. It is one of the public’s favorite, which has been played by pianists who love music, home and abroad for many times over. It is one of the major domestic and international piano competitions finals tracks,which has also been thoroughly studied by academia since the 19 th century. There are abundant research results on how to guide the player to grasp and interpretation of the artistic content of the concerto. Nevertheless, the author of this dissertation makes an attempt to stand on the shoulders of giants, combining her own performance practice, and tap new perspectives of practical guidance.The author explores this piano concertos from the characteristics of its creation, piano playing techniques and other aspects of the analysis. By analyzing Beethoven’s creative features, the author attempts to summarize the main features of the concerto. a A detailed analysis is conducted involved in all aspects of the art of piano playing skills in a hope of digging out the ignored or unnoticed perspectives of "c Minor Third Piano Concerto" and proposing some personal suggestions on how to play it.
