Folk Literature Characteristics Of Shen Congwen’s Creations

Shen Congwen is a folk writer, he puts into the folk literature, trying to find creative inspiration from folk, carving out different literary world. This article explores folk literature characteristics of Shen Congwen’s creations, through the comprehensive study of them, and discusses the role of the folk literature in the new literature construction based on these characteristics. The article discusses from four parts:Preface. This paper mainly introduces the research status of Shen Congwen and the significance of this topic. Shen Congwen called himself "redneck". Articles to study Shen Congwen from the Angle of folk literature are not uncommon, but we will find that these articles choose Shen Congwen’s novels as the research object to analyze the folk standpoint and folk cultural characteristics in the works of Shen Congwen.
