In the individual career development, different choices determine the different career paths, career decision-making as considered as one of the most significant choice, gradually attracted widespread public attention. Before they take the shoot, people explore and understand their own individual needs and career information, therefore, Career exploration is an important stage of the decision-making phase, the purpose of career exploration is to make better career decisions, personal career exploration lay a foundation for future career decision-making. Students in university is in the preparation stage to achieve personal goals, college students need to develop appropriate career planning and career exploration at this stage that based on personal career goals, and then make a career choice. Professional psychologists study the factors affecting career development, found that individual factors (including individual attitudes, personality traits, intrinsic interest, etc.) will influence on career exploration. Individual self-identity is an important variable in the field of personality psychology research, identity formation and development of the individual state play an important role in career development, this paper attempts to understand how self-identity act on career exploration and career decision-making processes, for Understanding the psychological and behavioral characteristics of individuals in career choice has important significance.This study used a combination of questionnaires and experimental approach to senior graduates for the study, investigated the role of the development of self-identity in occupational exploration and career decision-making process.Including two empirical studies:Study one conducted by questionnaire study of the relationship between self-identity and career exploration, study results showed that:(1)The different dimensions of self-identity in sex, whether a student is leader, where students belong have a remarkable difference; the different dimensions of career exploration in sex, whether as a student leader, where students belong also have a difference.(2)Considered various dimensions of occupational exploration as the dependent variable, different dimensions of self-identity have different predictive effects.In study two, first we using career decision-making experiments to explorer in different tasks, self-identity status type has effects of information processing in career decision-making process.The results show that:(1) In different task conditions, self-identity have different degrees of impact on the average decision time, the depth of information search and information search patterns, the search pattern for information on the identity of the state of types were significantly different.(2)The average decision time, the depth of information search and information search patterns were significantly different on the time variant; the depth of information search and information search patterns were significantly different on the number of career variant. Study two also study the relationship between self-identity and career decisions, the results showed that:Considered the average decision time, the depth of information search, information search mode as the dependent variable, various dimensions of self-identity has different predictive effect on career decisions.
