In ancient Chinese history of literature, poetry occupies an important position, from ancient times to the present, Chinese scholars seeking themselves in poetry, describe the various states of life. With the development of poetry of the maturity and prosperity, corresponding gives birth to ShiHua which is a kind of special comment on special style of poems, the author of ShiHua analyzes poetry from the perspective of art and traditional, put forward their intuitive feelings. ZhangJie’s SuiHanTang ShiHua is a theory of poetry works which absolutely cannot be ignored, it enriches the theory of system and integrity of ShiHua, make an indelible contribution to the correct development of Chinese poetry. It has the certain time background, Jiangxi poets group are influenced by SuShi and HuangTingjian, it develops poetry into the formalism of the wrong way. For this a mounting bad style, ZhangJie is the first scholar comes out and strictly criticizes JiangXi’s Poetry in Song dynasty, and puts forward many constructive poetics suggestions.His poems elaborated his theory of poems and commented on ancient poems in volume 1.In volume 2 he monographed DuFu’s poems. Poetry has inherited and developed the traditional Confucian poetics and emphasized the poetry the education of function. At the same time, his work also had aesthetic feature of poetry, so it construct a theoretical system of Poetics completely. In the history of Song’s poetry, ZhangJie’s SuiHanTang ShiHua had a development significance. Chinese ancient literary has a philosophical wisdom with poetic and strong inclusive. Therefore, it has to explore how to deliver through Western literary so that participate in constructing the contemporary literary theory in the world. This is the trend and inevitable. As a part of China ancient literary theory, the translation of SuiHanTang ShiHua can help abroad researchers who are interested in China ancient literary to learn the traditional thought in Chinese literature more easily. This paper is at the basement of researching in SuiHanTang ShiHua expand its content and the related discussion on the strategy of foreign translation.Besides introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses Zhang’s life situation and its poetic theory, his poetic theory including the poetics aim of "Use poetry to express ambition" and the intense emotion of worship DuFu, and further expounds the poetic theory of ZhangJie in understanding the meaning of traditional Chinese literature.The second chapter mainly discusses the theoretical background and the value of translation and extension of SuiHanTang ShiHua, this chapter divides into three sections, the background of the creation of SuiHanTang ShiHua, the content and the value of translation and promotion of SuiHanTang ShiHua. Among them, this article from two aspects which are the request of poetic theory’s value and the artistic style to explain the value of it’s translation and promotion.The third chapter mainly discusses current situation about the ancient Chinese literary theory, it divided into five sections, expound the condition of translation and the spread of the ancient Chinese theory of poetry, the condition of translation and the spread of the ancient Chinese literary theory, the unbalance between the condition of translation and the spread of the ancient Chinese literary theory and the introduction of the theory of western literature, the necessity of the translation and the spread of SuiHanTang ShiHua, the necessity of the translation and the spread of the ancient Chinese literary theory.The fourth chapter try to translate some content of SuiHanTang ShiHua, divides into two sections, it is noteworthy that we should pay attention to some problems before translation.In addition,we should be in-depth understand the poetry of Tang and Song and their poetry theory, also we should understand the Song dynasty poetics and its achievements.The fifth chapter discusses the promotion strategy in the translation of SuiHanTang ShiHua.It discusses Separately the promotion strategy of English translation in these aspects from the state and government, Confucius college, network, media, researchers themselves, respect for the culture exchanges and cooperation. It is worth mentioning that set up a Chinese ancient literary classics translation project,in order to better promote SuiHanTang ShiHua and other the ancient Chinese literary theory.
