Corruption and self-interesed behavior have been the focus of academic attention. Many scholars have pointed that power is a neutral concept would not necessarily be thereason of corruption, but corruption and self-interested behavior are often accompanied bypower. So what are the external and internal factors that will stimulate or induceself-interested behavior, and which factor that will bring more self-interested behavior?Based on this, the study is to investigate interaction effect of the external factors(information, open or not) and intrinsic personal qualities (morality) and power have onself-interested behavior by experimental study. Through three different experiments toexplore the interaction of power, information and moral have on the interaction ofself-interested behavior. In this study there are five parts. The first part is introduction to discuss background, significance, purpose, innovation, technology roadmap and structural arrangements. Thesecond part is a literature review. This part retrospectively analyzed through theoreticalconcepts and their major impact on human behavior and explores the relationship amongpower, information, moral and self-interested behavior. The third part is the assumption.Based on the second part of the theoretical review and further reflection and theory study, the main assumptions are made in this study. The fourth part is the three experimentsdesign, implementation and the eventual outcome statistics. Through this experimentalstudy we found that:(1) there is a significant correlation between between power andmorality, but there is no causal relationship;(2) power and information have interactiveeffect on self-interested behavior, regardless of the size of the power, the moreinformation, the less self-interested behavior;(3) power and morality have interactiveeffect on self-interested behavior, regardless of the size of the power, the more morality, the less self-interested behavior;(4) power, information and morality will also y haveinteractive effect on self-interested behavior, and the information have a stronger influenceon self-interested behavior than morallty. The last part of the paper discusses theoreticalcontributions and practical significance, study limitation and further research.
