| These years, the popular time-travel TV series interest the attention of film and television industry and academic circles. People hold totally different attitude toward time-travel TV series. The grand number of audience, controversial social discussion and issue prove that we should treat them as a special culture phenomenon rather than a new type of TV series. The author found civilian subculture, female subculture and youth subculture hide in this phenomenon. The article tried to study the critical, subversive and resistant power of subculture through analyzing the text of time-travel TV series.The whole article includes four parts. Firstly, we overall grasp time-travel TV series in China from a macroscopic perspective and explained why they get popular from three parts including topic, social mental and visual aesthetic. Then, we explained the criticalness and subversiveness of civilian subculture shown in them. In both original internet novels and characters in time-travel TV series we can see obvious plebeian and popularity. Besides, Chapter 3 analyzed female subculture. On one hand, we compared with traditional female figure and found that female overturn patriarchy by appear at public area which is controlled by male. On the other hand, female change and control male with power of love, in order to resist in a mild way. In the last part, we point out that the generations after 80s and 90s in China are labeled young people. We further demonstrate ritually resist of youth subculture with bodgie and unruly girl. They try to escape from main authority and adults’ control through language that out of control.In all, we hold a supportive and positive attitude to time-travel TV series, and approve the social significance and critical function from approving the critical, subversive and resistant subculture. |
