The Rhyme Of Gulangyu Islet

It’s the first sight of Gulangyu Islet when I just seventeen years old. Now thinking of that summer, it is still fresh in my memory. I love began with Gulangyu Islet at that time, until today,lasting to the future. Now I have the privilege of living in the Gulangyu Islet.Throughout the night,I walk in here, feeling together with her,and scenting her most real aromatic. For me, there’s only way to express my deeply love with my painting,making the love more vivid.It’s not a easy job to paint a beautiful and real Gulangyu Islet.This islet has an innate unique, special history and charm. The buildings She owned are in sharp contrast to Xiamen island which across the sea.It is a beautiful picture of so much amazing which history making her. Gulangyu Islet villas have their own stories.There are so many celebrities ever visited around here.The flowers and trees, the wave and beach in Gulangyu Islet make this sea garden more vitality. My creative material also cannot do without them.There are more wooded mountain and occasionally prominent Boulder, coupled with the different and low of the villa,It’s completely a perfect combination of natural and human.But sometimes it is difficult to arrange this combination in traditional Chinese painting.We need to consider not only the creative approach of traditional Chinese painting, also to consider how to make the European architecture and painting style perfectly together, which can be a very good surface to show the charm of the Gulangyu Islet, forming their own picture.Solving this problem is not only a challenge, but also innovation. The western landscape painting mostly sketch by painting on the scene.The layout arrangement in the picture often difficult to span to jump out of the partial views.Although the overall picture looks realistic, but sometimes it also inevitably weakens the enormous imagination for human.So, I try to innovate in my painting works.Although the scene is mostly the western style buildings in Gulangyu Islet,but Precisely we use the unique scenery of Gulangyu Islet which is different from others to recombinate the images.Through the combination,it reflect the the rhythm of architecture, combinating the density rhythm of screen. I use the arrangement of the building from the near to the distant,combining the single buildings to formate a new whole picture.The large and small vegetations alternated in the painting finally are unified in a picture.In addition,, I chose different ways to express the picture in this series of works:Some, With meticulous form, some with freehand brushwork form, some painting with writing.The picture is mainly to color,highlingting the bright red brick, grey walls, white columns etc. of the building in Gulangyu Islet.The layout focus on density arrangement of the screen,with the rhythmic arrangement to compose the Gulangyu Islet. On technique, try to make skin texture way to enrich the picture.I use these series of pictures to interpretate the Gulangyu Islet to realize my "Gulangyu Islet rhyme finally.
