Throughout the ancient and the modern, no matter in the Western or in the Chinese, truth has always been an interested topic for many logicians. This is not only because of its basic and central place in the philosophy of logics, but also it greatly promotes the development of the logic. Logicians have researched the truth on different aspects before Quine. As an American philosopher and logician, the impact of Quine’s logical thought is huge. He thinks logic takes the pursuit of truth as its mission. So he has a deep and systemic research on the following questions:what is truth? What is logical truth? How to pursue truth? How to judge the logical truth? In these studies of Quine, the research of revisability has caused a long and heated discussion at home and abroad. Is the logical truth revisional? Is logic revisional? Faced with these questions, different scholars have different answers. Some scholars believe the logical truth are wrong, so they are revisional, the logic is also revisional; the other think the logical truth is correct, but it is revisional, the logic can not be revised. Due to the academic divergence on these questions, to clarify them clearly has vital theoretical significance, which is helpful for the development of the logic. The paper is divided into three parts to investigate the question about revisability on Quine’s logical thought. The first part mainly discusses Quine’s logical thought, especially his view about logical truth. He thought logical truth is relatively inevitable, so logical truth is revisional. The second part mainly analyzes the question about revisability of logical truth. Different scholars have different opinions. Based on the researches from domestic and foreign scholars, the author puts forward her own views, namely, logical truth and logical system are revisional, as a subject, logic can not be revised. In the third part, the paper investigates the theoretical significance of researching this question. As one of the key issues of logic and philosophy, the study of truth will offer a direction for the development of Logic and Philosophy, which worth us to analysis comprehensively and deeply.
