In order to investigate the factors influencing social withdrawal and explore effective intervention, conducted two studies. A study designed to investigate the impact of the relationship between empathy and emotion recognition ability of children of parents of children with social withdrawal brought for the social withdrawal interventions to provide theoretical support for children, using emotion recognition tool (SETT emotion recognition tools by children Fill), social withdrawal assessment questionnaire (CBCL questionnaire (Second Edition), by the parents of the child behavior were assessed), empathy questionnaire (IRI questionnaire filled out by parents) for 1061 students (and their parents) were evaluation (491 boys,570 girls). The results showed that there was a significant negative correlation between social withdrawal behavior emotion recognition abilities of children and child, the mother’s empathic ability (compared to his father) and emotion recognition abilities of children there are more related to parental empathic ability and boys (compared to the girls) are more related to the presence of social withdrawal. In short, the emotion recognition abilities of children can effectively predict the social withdrawal behavior of children. However, the regulation of the test results show that parents empathic ability and can not play an effective role in the regulation of emotion recognition between child behavior and social withdrawal. In Study 2, in order to explore the effectiveness of interventions for children by improving children’s ability to identify emotional social withdrawal behavior methods, selected 32 social withdrawal tendencies exist (CBCL questionnaire social withdrawal scores above the threshold) of the children were randomly assigned to the intervention group and the control group (n= 16, male and female), only the intervention group were 10 times of emotion recognition training (once a week, every 45 minutes). It was found that the majority of subjects in the intervention group emotions (anger, disgust, fear, surprise) the ability to identify all been significantly improved, social withdrawal behavior of children have also been reduced (p<0.05), while the control group was significantly changed, thus proving the effectiveness of the intervention. In conclusion, this study found that:(1) children’s ability to identify basic emotions uneven performance for the happy mood of the highest recognition rate for Fear for lowest recognition rate. The existence of social withdrawal behavior (2) gender differences in children, girls exhibit more social withdrawal behavior; social withdrawal behavior of children there is a certain developmental, social withdrawal behavior of some children would rather decrease with age, but still There are social withdrawal behavior will remain a part of the child into adulthood. Emotion recognition ability (3) Children of parents with empathy could significantly predicted children’s social withdrawal, but the predicted path between the two is relatively independent regulatory role of parents is not obvious empathy. (4) the ability to identify children with emotional goal target was targeted social withdrawal behavior training can significantly improve children.
