Research On Application Of Modern Times Han’s Folk Costumes Elements In Modern Book Design

Traditional culture and the modern book design have a deep relationship,book art can be a reflection of a country and its national culture.And the long history and culture of China have also given birth to a variety of traditional folk arts.As a representative of traditional folk costumes,folk costumes of the Han nationality play an important role in the history of Chinese costumes culture with their unique art form.In order to let folk costumes of the Han nationality adapt to the times,it needs us to put them in a new and sustainable development perspective to review and research,which can make folk costumes elements keep pace with the times,while providing modern book design with a wealth of nutrients.Through the research on books and Literature, many experts and scholars have deeply studied the Chinese traditional elements symbol,and a growing number of book layout designers have began to focus on the use of Chinese traditional elements symbol in book design.But there is little research in the area of Han’s folk costumes, especially the period of late Qing and the Republic of China under the background of Chinese and Western cultures.The Han’s folk costumes of this period blend the culture of Chinese and Western, and the deep interpretation in this special period of Han folk costume elements provides abundant design resouce for Chinese modern book design,which has great significance.However, we should not blindly use folk costume elements, and we must reasonably use them according to the contents and form. Through understanding the times and cultural background of modern times’ Han’s folk costumes, this paper describes the artistic charm of Han’s folk costumes in modern times, analyzes and summarizes its elements category.It also summarizes the applications and forms of folk costume elements in the modern book design,and then analyzes the forms in all cases.The paper describes the innovative ways of modern Han’s folk costumes in modern book design,and it brings new design ideas for the modern book design.At the same time,the graduation work also make the modern Han’s folk costumes’ elements application innovation and get heritage.
