With the development of international education of Chinese, Monolingual Chinese Learner’ Dictionaries get more and more attention from researchers. At present has published some dictionaries that specifically for foreign students learning Chinese, but overall, the research and compilation of export-oriented Chinese learning dictionaries are still at the starting stage, in many aspects need to be further improved.In this paper, the author selects examples in Monolingual Chinese Learner’ Dictionaries as research subjects, mainly because that illustration occupies a very important position in the microscopic structure of the dictionary, not only to help interpret; it is one of the primary means of showing the syntax information. However, due to various reasons, the examples in Monolingual Chinese Learner’Dictionaries have relatively large defects, such as with cases too difficult, with single corpus cases, with cases of style backward. Given the current situation, we choose the writing strategies and evaluation of Monolingual Chinese Learner’Dictionaries as research subjects.Based on the summaries of the studies of Monolingual Chinese Learner’ Dictionaries, this paper selects "Contemporary Chinese Learning Dictionary", "Business Hall Learning Chinese Dictionary ", "HSK Chinese Dictionary 8000 ", " 1700 Pairs of Synonyms Language Usage Contrast " the four relatively new and influential dictionaries, then inspects the examples in them. In this paper, quantitative analysis and empirical research are used together, through the "Foreign Students on Monolingual Chinese Learner’Dictionaries Use Survey ", " Foreign students on Monolingual Chinese Learner’Dictionaries Satisfaction Survey" and "Teacher’s Perspective on Monolingual Chinese Learner’Dictionaries the Users Needs Interviews Investigation " three survey questionnaires and interviews, preliminary summarizes two big problems. In the fourth chapter, the author analyzes the reason for the problems, and summarizes three main reasons. Next, further discusses the strategies and evaluation criteria of Examples in Monolingual Chinese Learner’ Dictionaries, and presents the written suggestions for improvement.In this paper, the author through research and theoretical analysis, preliminary summarizes two big problems that the Monolingual Chinese Learner’Dictionaries is lack of hierarchy and lack of multidimensional, then classified describes these aspects, specifically in the lack of levels on vocabulary, syntax, semantics, sentence length and number; and in the lack of multidimensional on dictionary corpus and choreography style. The author believes that these problems are mainly due to three reasons, namely the lack of timeliness, dictionary writers are lack of the awareness of difficulty level and of user needs, as well as the lack of appropriate theoretical lexicography basis. The focus of this paper is about strategies and evaluation criteria. Specifically, Monolingual Chinese Learner’ Dictionaries should focus on hierarchy and multidimensional, that vocabulary, syntax, semantics, and sentence length and number should be based on the difficulty level and users’demands, which is based on the frequency of Chinese language; dictionaries should build a corpus that is a set of written language, spoken language, new words and intermediary language; dictionaries choreography style is about bias discrimination, discrimination synonyms, word association, pragmatic culture and digitized using five aspects. In the discussion of choreography style, the author through example, contrast, and other ways to rewrite each strategy elaborate. The last part of the fourth chapter is the discussion of thedictionaries’ examples evaluation criteria, the author proposes normative, targeted, three-dimensional the three points, and each point divides into several small angles to analyze.The fifth chapter is the full paper’s epilogue, the author reflects the advantages and disadvantages of the entire paper, proposes the improvement parts, and combines with the entire paper centers, namely to build hierarchical, multidimensional Monolingual Chinese Learner’Dictionaries, prospects the development of Chinese learning.
