In recent years, some researchers use the embodied cognition to study moral judgment, found that individual moral judgments depend on the body and sensory-motor systems, such as sight, smell and the feel of skin.The sense of weight is a feeling of Skin Sensec that always affect people’s lives.Studies have shown that different weights experience will affect people’s cognitive judgment, further experiments found that the sense of weight will affect the evaluation on the importance of the event. Robin et al 1996 proved that the Perceived Importance of an Ethical Issue (PIE) has a direct impact on moral judgments. Therefore, the study assume that the sense of weight influence the Perceived Importance of an Ethical Issue, then affecting the moral judgments. Partucipants need to hold one box(250g/2000g) and answer the questionnaires.The study was to discuss the impact on the moral judgment when people feeling different weight. This study involves immoral events. The study participants were college students from Hunan normal university. In this study, partucipants need to hold a file box(250g/2000g) and answer the questionnaires to evaluate the importance of five ethical event and do moral judgment. The conclusions are as follows:(1) the sense of the weight will affect the evaluation of the importance on unethical events. compared to the lighter box files, when people hold a heavier file box will get a higher importance score on unethical event.(2) The sense of the weight will affect the strict degree of moral judgment. compared to hold a lighter file box, when people hold a heavier file box will evaluated the unethical event as more immoral, more stringent the moral judgments(3) The importance plays a role of intermediary when the sense of weight predicts the strict degree of moral judgments. the sense of weight affect moral judgments mainly through the influence the perceived importance...
