Aggression is one of the most important psychological treatment in prison work. In order to further study on influential factors of prisoners’aggression, to provide effective suggestions for prisoners’aggressive psychological correction, this study takes the quantitative and the qualitative research methods to find the relationship among childhood abuse, cognitive emotion regulation strategies and aggression of prisoners. Firstly, a survey on 251 prisoners is conducted based on the "the Aggression Questionnaire", "A short version of the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire" and "Childhood Trauma Questionnaire". Secondly, through the qualitative research method, to know the condition of prisoners’aggression, cognitive emotion regulation strategies and childhood abuse experience and analyze the relationship among the three, then it can provide suggestions for intervention study of prisoners’ aggression.The Results of study 1:(1) The mainly performance of prisoners’aggression is verbal aggression, physical aggression, anger and hostility; Their mainly strategies is self-blame, acceptance, rumination, refocus on Planning and positive reappraisal. The mainly abuse of prisoners in childhood is physical neglect and emotional neglect. (2) There is a positive correlation between the prisoners’aggression and childhood abuse. (3) There is a significant negative correlation between emotional neglect, physical neglect and acceptance, positive reappraisal and a significant positive correlation between emotional abuse, physical abuse and positive attention. There is a significant negative correlation between emotional neglect, physical neglect and self blame and a significant positive correlation between emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse and rumination, catastrophizing, blaming others. (4) There is a significant negative correlation between anger, self-attack and positive reappraisal, and a significant positive correlation between verbal attack and refocus on Planning, putting into Perspective. There is a significant positive correlation between aggression and Rumination, catastrophizing, blaming others. (5) The prisoners’strategies of positive focusing, catastrophizing, blaming others play the role of some intermediary.The Results of study 2:(1)The prisoners has a high level of aggression and childhood abuse, and their mainly strategies is catastrophizing and blaming others. (2) The prisoners’ aggression is related to their Childhood abuse experience:the more serious childhood abuse is, the higher the aggression is. (3) The prisoners’strategies of positive focusing, catastrophizing, blaming others play the role of some intermediary.Conclusion:(1) Prisoners have a certain degree of aggressiveness, and some part of them had suffered child abuse, and showing negative cognitive emotion regulation characteristics. (2) Cognitive emotion regulation strategies of prisoners are associated with aggression, negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies result a higher level of aggression. (3) Childhood abuse experience has an important influence on the formation of aggression of prisoners:the more serious childhood abuse is, the higher the aggression is. (4) The prisoners’ strategies of positive focusing, catastrophizing, blaming others play the role of some intermediary.Conclusion:(1) Childhood abuse experience has an important influence on the formation of aggression of prisoners:the more serious childhood abuse is, the higher the aggression is. (2) Cognitive emotion regulation strategies of prisoners are associated with aggression, Positive cognitive emotion regulation strategies help to reduce the aggression, while negative cognitive emotion regulation strategies result a higher level of aggression. (3) The prisoners’ strategies of positive focusing, catastrophizing, blaming others play the role of some intermediary.
