In the contemporary world, the form of labor and production is highly related to the informatization process. We can see the development of productivity growth varies in the different regional pattern as well as the Industry segmentation. Many scholars are in the position of either criticizing or defending the administrative and legal system. Philosophy has a property of long-lasting and strong concern and reflection of the era, therefore the radically critiques and reconstruction works can be done in the sphere of thought. We are now living in highly sophisticated and assembly line-like lifestyle. The free will and everything about production as well as living are exposed in a crisis of the environment. It is difficult to pick a way out of the condition, in which men are deprived of mankind spirits and perceptual feelings. In this essay, we get into the three dimensions of critique in capitalist modernity. Max Weber, Lukacs and Marx are all well known as the classic theorist in the field of capitalism, by capitalism, we refer to the regulations formed under the promoting engine from rationalism since modern times." In the first chapter, "iron cage" emerges as the key concept in Weber’s demonstration. We can be guided into his sociological theory as a neo-Kantian and the ideal rational routine in Weber’s work inevitably results in "iron cage" The second chapter is about Lukacs and his strong critiques towards Weber as well as his ambition of being an orthodox Marxist. Lukacs’works provide the researchers with the opportunity to compare and analyze these three theorists. In the third chapter, by the work of analysis in Marx’s historical materialism position, we are capable of looking into Marx’s criticism of capitalist modernity. Under the concept of alienation labor, the limitations of "iron cage" are revealed, the concept of perceptual activity in Marxism’s practical philosophy demonstrates the ontological dimension. In the conclusion part, we turn to the current situation brought by capitalist modernity in nowadays and try to explore the possible research approach. The rise and expansion of the immaterial labor weighs much in the capitalism production. It occupies the whole living time of workers in a much more hidden way and thus in a more thoroughly way.The three theorists made huge contributions to the development of philosophy and sociology. Their focus on capitalist production and the social relations afterwards maintained with high concern. They paved different ways to clarifying and enriching the concept of capitalism, and inspired researchers to attain a much more comprehensive perspective about theory and practical philosophy. The essay reviews the significance of their thoughts. In the crisis situation of capitalism society, we still face the contradiction in production and living, and are supposed to figure out a solution to survival and freedom. This ambition should be attained in philosophical analysis and critique, which plays the role of powerful weapon for humankind as well.
