The Discussion On Contemporary Works Related To Local Music

This paper focuses on the research of Zhou Xianglin’s traditional instruments orchestra "Hua Yao San Dao Hong", through the study of the musical techniques of Zhou Xianglin to discuss how to reasonably use Chinese folk music elements in the process of composing contemporary works and explore the practical significance of the creation and development of Chinese traditional instruments orchestra works in the future. This paper is mainly divided into three chapters:The first chapter providesthe presentation of the composer--Zhou Xianglin and recent compose orientation.The second chapter analyzes the work from the following several aspects: the choice and characteristics of the instrument list, the resources of main materials and musical characteristics, the construction of the melody and the pitch, the structure and characteristics of the harmony, the characteristics of the orchestration, the layout of the overall structure.The third chapter mainly concludes the importantconcepts and artistic practice of the composer, the influence of the works of Zhou Xianglin in the current music industry, and the role in promoting the development trend of Chinese localization music in the future.
