The Reasearch Of Bai Ju Yi Seasonal Poems

Bai JuYi is one of the most famous poets in Tang Dynastyjust like Li Bai and Du Fu. Bai Ju Yi is the representative of poetry transition of Tang Dynasty, because his poems made an important step for secularization of literature.Based on the study of culture and traditions of Jie Ling-poems of Bai Ju Yi,this paper will show the thoughts and feelings and his writing characteristic during these Jie Ling.In this thesis, the study is mainly divided into three parts, the introduction, main body and epilogue.In the part of introduction,this thesis will point out that the study of Bai Ju Yi’s poems is praised one of the most thorough study in the 20th century, while his seasonal poems gets little concentration, therefor, the study of his seasonal poems will be valuable.The main body is devided into four part. Based on differences between Jie Ling and festival, the first part will make a definition to Jie Ling. Jie Ling is about specific agriculture life and the four seasons, not include Dan Jiang Jie. Based on the study, this thesis calculated out that there are 113 Jie Ling poems of Bai Ju Yi, among them,4 Jie Ling appears the most frequent, respectively are Han Shi Jie 28 poems, Chong Yang 16 poems, Yuan Ri 14 poems, Sui Chu 12 poems. The reason is that these Jie Ling became the days for spring outing and assembly banquet in Tang Dynasty, which make the Jie Ling of Tang Dynasty the days that whole people fall in hilarity. Next,based on the writing time and place, the most Jie Ling poems were written in 4 period of Bai Ju Yi, respectively are 35 poems in his 60s,24 poems in his 50s,23 poems in his 40s, and the places respectively are Luo Yang 43poems,ChangAn18 poems, Jiang Zhou 11 poems. The wring time is the mutual corroboration to the writing place, and distribution is closely linked to the lifetime、official career and Mid-hermit thought of Bai Ju Yi. The second part,base on the analysis of the activities and foods in Bai Ju Yi’s Jie Ling poems, will show the people’s life during these Jie Lings in Middle Tang Dynasty, and analysis the development of the Jie Lings of Tang Dynasty. The third part analysis the different feelings between Du Fu and other Mid-Tang Dynasty poets of allegory poem during these Jie Lings, such as the care of own life and the miss for country、 families、the Friendship, which shows one of Bai Ju Yi’s writing characteristic, and that is the concentration of feelings. The fourth part analysis Bai Ju Yi’s expansion to the themes of Jie Lings, based on his means of artistic expression and the value of his Jie Ling poems. And the main expansion is the erotic charater and the use of folk adage, not just the description of daily life. Besides,the special lyric-artistic style result from the different styles of writing will be analysised.
