A Study On The Self-Preface Of Bai Juyi’s Poems

Bai Juyi was an accomplished poet during the Middle Tang Dynasty.He left nearly3,000 poems in more than 70 years,which can be said to be prolific.His "satiric poems" and "Xian Shi poems" both occupy an important position in the literary world.Among Bai Juyi’s many poems,there are 82 poems with self-order,and he is also the poet with the largest number of poems in the Tang Dynasty.The self-order of poetry is closely related to the body of the poem.As an important part of poetry,the self-order of poetry not only helps us understand poetry,but also assumes some functions of poetry.The poem preface has a long history.With the continuous development and evolution of the poem preface,it has almost developed into an independent literary style,with its own artistic characteristics and literary value,so the poem preface has important significance and research value.Academia’s achievements in the research of Bai Juyi’s poetry are endless,but in the literatures consulted at this stage,no scholars have yet found a systematic study of Bai Juyi’s poetry self-order.This article will start with Bai Juyi’s poem preface,and intends to conduct a special study on Bai Juyi’s poem preface on the basis of predecessors.The author divides the stages of poetry self-ordering and statistically organizes them,draws them into a table,and then analyzes them,so that he can intuitively understand the overview of poetry self-ordering,so as to discuss the theme and content of Bai Juyi’s poetry self-ordering,explore the relationship between self-ordering and poetry,and examine its functions and functions.,Analyze the artistic characteristics and literary value of poetry preface.The full text includes the following three parts.The first part,the introduction part mainly introduces the research status of poetry preface in recent years,the research achievements of Bai Juyi’s poetry preface,the reason for selecting the topic,the significance and value of the research.The second part is the body of the thesis,divided into four chapters.Chapter 1: First briefly describe the meaning of preface and its meaning in the history of poetry,and secondly limit the scope of the research object of this article,use tables to count Bai Juyi’s poem self-order,and divide it according to the type of self-order.Finally,Bai Juyi’s poem preface is divided into three major periods according to his life experience,and the three major periods are subdivided according to the changes in his official position and the location of his poems,and the characteristics and style of Bai Juyi’s poem preface in different periods are explored.Chapter 2: Study the theme and content of Bai Juyi’s poetry preface.Taking Bai Juyi’s self-order of poetry as an example,the poem’s self-order is divided into five types according to the content,and the main text of the self-order is used to analyze the theme,content characteristics and changes of Bai Juyi’s poem’s self-order in each period.Chapter 3: Taking the specific poetry of Bai Juyi as an example,explore the relationship between poetry preorder and poetry,and analyze the four main functions of poetry preorder: supplement the background of poetry,elucidate the theme,lay the emotional tone,promote poetics,literary theory,it is related to reality,Demonstrate humanistic feelings.Chapter 4: Analyze the artistic characteristics of Bai Juyi’s poetry preface and its literary value from multiple angles.From the perspective of language and artistic technique,the artistic characteristics of Bai Juyi’s poetry preface and its value in literary history are analyzed.The third part,the conclusion,summarizes the important significance of the study of Bai Juyi’s poetry preface.
