| Piano and vocal music, as the two main profession in the area of music learning, are emphasized practicality, that is the stage performance, and this event contains two important factors:environment and players. The most important factor of a successful stage performance is performers themselves, while the most common and greatest problem which performers face is the stage performance anxiety. As a popular topic of music learning, it has been studied and discussed repeatedly by researchers, According to the current status of domestic and foreign researches, I found that there are little comparative studies on stage performance anxiety of different professions. And we are still not sure whether their incidence, extent and even attribution methods are the same, In addition, the topic of whether the gender has impact on stage performance anxiety has been explored, but it is ambiguous, and some researchers said that women have higher anxiety than the men when they have a performance on the stage, while some others thought that the both are the same. Consequently, concerning about the impact of anxiety on the stage performances of these two variables will provide effective advices to overcome or reduce stage performance anxiety respectively.If it does, we should focus on the characteristics of different professions, as well as taking into account gender differences, to overcome stage performance anxiety of different professions or genders, if not, we should relax our mind, and summarize the incidence,performance and ways to overcome stage performance anxiety through collecting more theoretical and practical strategies in other studies and the questionnaires of this study, thus provide a viable, effective and comprehensive approaches to reduce or overcome stage performance anxiety.This paper aims to study whether the two variables have an impact on stage performance anxiety, and thus finds according ways to overcome stage performance anxiety. The results showed that profession influence stage performance anxiety and gender have no effect on it, therefore, after attribution analysis of relationship between different variables and stage performance anxiety, writer of this paper proposed three aspects of preparation:profession, time and ways to meet and overcome stage performance anxiety.This thesis is divided into six sections:The first part is an introduction. It mainly describes the research background, purpose and research questions. The second part is a literature review, a total of three parts. The first section defines the concept of anxiety, performance anxiety and stage performance anxiety, then introduce the theoretical basis of this study-Attribution Theory; The second section mainly talks about the current status of domestic and foreign researches, and then summed up its oversight of several issues. The third part is the research method, a total of four chapters, including the object of study, research methods of the study, the design of the study and research process. The fourth part is the research results, a total of three sections, the first section is descriptive statistics of the sample data, the second section is a compare of the stage performance anxiety between students of piano and vocal, the third section is a compare of the stage performance anxiety of different gender the fourth section is a summary. The fifth part is the conclusion of the study, a total of three sections, the first section is the attribution analysis of relationship between different variables and stage performance anxiety, section â…¡ is the strategies to overcome stage performance anxiety, section â…¢ is the conclusion. The sixth part is the limitations and prospects of this study. |
