The story of The tower of Babel, ancient and mysterious, in allusion to the "Old Testament" Bible. After studying deeply by the later generations, the interpretation of it has become different. For the study of the tower of Babel, has continued to move forward. In different contexts, they have a special image of their own. This paper briefly analyzes the image of the tower of Babel in Babylon,-Gates of the God, as well as the theme of the Jewish-sin of pride, and finally in the context of Christian-salvation image. The image of the tower of Babel is changeable, it inspires people to research them.The development of the tower of Babel has become a symbol of western culture. It contains many aspects of modern society, and shows many problems in modern society. Especially in the context of modern literatures, the theme image, more in-depth portrayed. In this paper, based on the first part, analyze the theme image of the tower of Babel from modern literature in the second and third part. In the second chapter, in depth study from Kafka’s Emble of the city, and Anderson’s Babel as a representative of modern literature. Through these two work’s interpretations, the image of The tower of Babel is different from the former three context image interpretations, and reflect many culture phenomenon in modern society. Finally, section fourth, through the interpretation of the image of the two works, to explore the reconstruction of the Tower of Babel which behind the modern people, and the relationship between people and god.The tower of Babel has become all encompassing cultural signs from the original image-tower. It has made a big difference to the western literature, and become a eternal representative in western modern literature.
