Theory Of Sichuan Folk Song Singing In ’Da He Zhang Shui Lang Sha Zhou’ And ’Huai Hua Ji Shi Kai’

Sichuan, enjoying a reputation of "the Land of Abundance", is a place with beautiful landscape, outstanding people and a long history. The special environment creates a unique Ba Shu Culture. The diligent and intelligent Sichuan people live and work in this beautiful land, and create a rich and colorful folk culture which includes the unique style of Sichuan folk songs.By classification analysis and discussion of two Sichuan folk songs "Da He Zhang Shui Lang Sha Zhou" and "Kui Hua Ji Shi Kai" from the backgrounds, lyrics, melody and singing characteristics combined with image data and actual performance, this paper is to give readers a better understanding of Sichuan folk songs and singing details and methods. The paper is comprised of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter mainly introduces the historical culture background and origin of creation materials of Sichuan folk songs. And according to different areas of people’s living habits, environment and language features, it divides Sichuan folk songs regionally, resulting in a comparison of Sichuan regional style and showing essence of local language in song expression. The second chapter mainly analyzes the songs "Da He Zhang Shui Lang Sha Zhou" and "Kui Hua Ji Shi Kai" as examples discussing from their art characteristics to detail process, singing skills and stage performance during singing. Through the analysis of the two songs, the paper is aim to make learners and singers have a clear understanding of characteristics and singing skills of Sichuan folk songs.
