Analysis Of Huang Zi’s Art Songs Singing

Chinese art songs began to appear in 1920’s and a large number of composers were borned, of whom Huang Zi was one of the most representative one.With solid composition techniques and patriotism feelings, he created plenty of art songs which have beautiful tunes and great affection.The full text is divided into three chapters.lt introduces Huang Zi’s life and creation in Chapter One;Chapter Two is made up of two sections.The first one generally overviews the characteristics of Huang’s art songs and holistic approach of selecting song materials, songwriting and song aesthetics;In the second quarter, the features of three different kinds of his art songs are analysed separately and the differences are summarized. Chapter Three is the focus of the thesis where the singing methods of Huang’s art songs are analysed. In this section.I take outstanding works of the three types for examples,the singing tone, speed and strength, articulation and enunciation are analysed detailedly.By the analysis of the characteristics and singing of Huang’s art songs, we hope to help vocal learners to understand more about Huang Zi and his works.then make them express Huang’s art songs better.
