Chinese is a kind of thousands of years’ language. It is not only a communication tool of Chinese, but also a carrier that bear the thousands of years’ Chinese culture. What TCFL teachers should do is not only about language teaching, but also about culture communication. Chinese culture is too long and complex for Chinese learners to acquire it. Then how to improve the level of Chinese learners’ cultural acquisition has become a valuable issue. Currently, TCFL academia in China has full research about cultural teaching, but few research about cultural acquisition. Chinese cultural acquisition of Chinese learners play a significant role in their Chinese language learning. This paper based on the theory of cultural acquisition and language acquisition in the second language teaching, combined the author’s TCFL practice experience in Mongolian Ulaanbaatar 15 th school, to research the Chinese cultural acquisition’s situation of local Chinese learners with methods of questionnaire, classroom observation, after-school interviews, etc.This paper mainly has five parts to discuss. The first part is introduction. It mainly introduces the reason and significance to write thispaper, relevant literature review, the basic situation of Mongolian Ulaanbaatar 15 th school. And in this part, the author classified and analyzed the research about culture acquisition and language acquisition.The second part did a theory analysis about Chinese language acquisition and Chinese culture acquisition from the point of language acquisition and culture acquisition theory, and summarized the approaches and contents of Chinese culture acquisition. The third part researched and analyzed the situation of Chinese learners’ culture acquisition in Mongolian Ulaanbaatar 15 th school by the main method of questionnaire,classroom observation and after-school interviews. The fourth part based on the research result of the third part, combined the author’s practice experiment in 15 th school, then put forward to three methods to improve the level of learners’ Chinese culture acquisition: to build a proper classroom environment for Chinese culture acquisition; to use the modern education technology; to make a experienced education style, like some practice activities about Chinese culture. The fifth part is the epilogue. It made a summary about this paper.
