The Tang Dynasty poetic circles had a lot of talented people. Taoist prosperous and social Taoism wind produced a number of female Taoist Poets, in which Li Ye and Yu Xuanji were the most famous ones. They had three identities, which were female Taoists, Poets and famous personage. Also, they had similar rough experiences, family background and background of the times. Depending on their special identities, wisdom and talent, they made friends with literati extensively, and created many excellent works, exudeed extraordinary splendor in Tang poetic circles. Li Ye and Yu Xuanji’s poems have many similarities in the aspects of ideology, theme, artistic style and so on, but with a different.Both Li Ye and Yu Xuanji’s poetry display the distinctive female consciousness. With regard to love, Li Ye and Yu Xuanji both pursued enthusiasticly and tenaciously, and they dare to love and speak out. But Yu Xuanji performed more bravely and strongly. They actively thought about love’s circumstances of tragedy, at the same time, they are more aware of the feudal society’s secular relationship between husband and wife. Yu Xuanji also exhibited positive rebellion and struggle. In the face of strong malelism, their attitudes towards male were changing. They tried to get rid of their attachment to men, and behaved different male writing attitudes, their female independent consciousness were very obvious. They also jumped out of the traditional "the three obediences and the four virtues" siege, and realized women’s own unique value. Not only that, Yu Xuanji’s poems also showed great enthusiasm for politics and anger for "be frustrated for all one’s talent", as relative with this was the Li Ye’s indifference to fame.Li Ye and Yu Xuanji’s poetry indirectly reflected the face of Taoism in Tang dynasty. Although they were not pious female Taoist priest, they were keen on the perception of taoism. Influenced by the Taoism thought, the pure invisible temperament was obvious in their poems. Li Ye and Yu Xuanji’s poetry successfully used a variety of techniques of expression, they both were good at using allusions, some of their allusions were even in common. Li Ye and Yu Xuanji were also very proficient on the rhythm, for the specific performance, Yu Xuanji was praised for her good control over a variety of Poetry, and Li Ye was good at metrical poem antithesis.
