A Report On Audii Explosion Translation

In this thesis, I make a comprehensive study on the translation of the book entitled “Audit Explosion”, which is entrusted by Foreign Funds Application and Overseas Investment Audit Department of Heilongjiang Provincial Audit Office. First of all, it briefly introduces the entrusting party and the entrusted translation, which form the basis of translation. Secondly,I comprehensively describe the translation process and arrangement, including previous translation theory preparation, professional basic knowledge preparation and reference books and parallel texts preparation. Then according to vocabulary, sentence and discourse in the paper, I analyze text characteristics before translation, and design the translation process and emergency plan. These guarantee the subsequent translation in terms of theory, plan and personnel. Thirdly, the analysis of translation problems and countermeasures in practice is the core of the thesis. I analyze problems in detail from vocabulary, sentence and discourse perspective in translation, and then put forward appropriate translation techniques. Finally, what I have learned from this practice is stated. I have improved language and professional knowledge and ability, and at the same time, strengthened skills in communication and coordination with the client in the translation practice. I hope that these feasible strategies and skills can throw light on other translators to solve problems in their translation of audit text.
