Social Problem-Solving was defined as the self-directed cognitive.Behavioralprocess by which a person attempts to identify or discover adaptive ways of copingwith problematics situations encountered in everyday living.On college students’ ofSocial Problem-Solving added our study on social problem solving ability and a studyof the age,formed higher social adaptation ability and enhanced to deal with the newthings of self-efficacy.It was found that Chinese culture of the college students’ abilityto solve problems of social development characteristics for college graduates enter thesociety to provide scientific system training problem,reduced anxiety because ofchanging environment and provided psychological and external environmentmatting.This study for the relevant domestic concerns of this study provides a newidea,the domestic existing research pay more attention to the human communicationproblem solving and this research scope some.Using faye wong, liu yan under the Chinese background revised D "Zurilla (1996)social problem solving questionnaire (SPSI-R).The Lou schlosser t (2003) for theundergraduate adaptability Scale and Berlin, Germany and the free university ofclinical and health psychologist famous Ralf Schwarzer professors and his colleaguesfor the General self-efficacy Scale (General Self-Efficacy Scale, the GSES)A sample of468students participated in current study.Questionnaires were usedto investigate the characteristics of undergraduates’social problem solving ability andits relationship with self e-fficacy and social adaption.The results indicated that:(1)thesenior compared with freshmen’s ability to solve the social problems more low;Freshman and seniors exist significant differences;girls’scores were significantlyhigher than Boys’in Negative problem solving.(2) undergraduates’social problemsolving ability can be categorized into three groups: Positive rational typegroup,ordinary group,and weak group,whose proportion were40.7%,30.6%and28.7%,respectively;(3)In the social problem solving, self-efficacy and socialadaptation of the dimension, the overall environment to adapt and positive problemsolving, self-efficacy not related, every other related significant between dimensions.To a certain extent, Social problem solving ability,social adaptation and self-efficacysignificant correlation.(4)the social problem solving ability positively predicted activesocial adaption,and negatively predicted negative social adaption. Problemapproaching and problem avoidance were two key predictors among the dimensionsof social problem solving ability.Rational social problem solving, negative problemsolving and impulse-negligence problem solving the key prediction function.
