Self-programmed general questionnaire (clinical data of children with cerebral palsy, parents demographic information, etc.), ZUNG Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), ZUNG Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Social Support Rating Scales(SSRS), Life Satisfaction index A(LSI-A) scale were uesd to assess all parents of the two group before and after the interventionResults:(1) Atotal of 67 cases of subjects completed all the information collected. There are 31 cases in the intervention group,36 cases in the control group. There is no significant difference of the data between control group andintervention group. (2) The comparison of indicators between intervention group and control groupof the parents of children with cerebral palsy:Before intervention,There is no significant difference ofthe scores of SAS, SDS, LSI-A andSSRS between control group and interventiongroup (P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS were highly significantlydecreased in the intervention group compared with the control group (P<0.01).Thescores of LSI-A and SSRS were increased in the intervention groupcompared with the control group, the SSRS score of intervention group had significant difference with that of the control group (P<0.05),but the LSI-A score of intervention group had no significant difference with that of the control group (P>0.05). (3) The self-controlled methods performed inthe intervention group and control group:Thescores of SAS and SDS were lower than beforeintervention in the intervention group (P<0.01).The scores of LSI-A and SSRS were higher than beforeintervention in the intervention group. The SSRS score beforeintervention had significant difierence with that of the control group (P< 0.05), but the LSI-A score of intervention group had no significant difference with that of the control group (P>0.05).The scores of SAS, LSI-A and SSRS were higher, andthe scores of SDS were higher significantly than before intervention in the control group. There is no significant difference ofthe scores of SAS, SDS, LSI-A,SSRS betweenbefore and after intervention in the control group (P>0.05). (4) The relative analysis between life satisfaction index A and mental health, social support of parents of children with cerebral palsy:The Spearman relative analysis showed thatthe LSI-A score of intervention group was negatively related to the score of SAS and SDS before intervention (P<0.01), the LSI-A score of control group was negatively related to the score of SDS before intervention (P<0.05), the LSI-A score of intervention group was positively related to the score of SSRS after intervention (P<0.05), the LSI-A score of control group was positively related to the score of SSRS (P<0.05) and was negatively related to the score of SDS (P<0.01) after intervention.Conclusions:(1) Anxiety and depression were widespread in parents of children with cerebral palsy, and also they had low life satisfaction and social support.(2) The psycho logical intervention can relief parents’anxiety, alleviate parents’ depression, increase social support.(3) The psychological intervention can improve the mental health parents of children with cerebral palsy.
