Electronic games can be adapted to TV series, which has become a new industry recently. This industry is generated and prompted by the fusion of mediums. The scenarios of these TV series adopted from the electronic games become more and more attractive. The academic world should give deep research and analysis to this emerging thing from its foundation, development and artistic presentation. The adaptation of electronic games provides a lot of opportunities to TV play industry,meanwhile it brings a lot of problems. For example, the adapters do not know the originals very well, the adaptations strategy are not mature; and the adaptations need to meet the complex demands of audiences. This paper regards The Legend of Sward and Fairy, The Legend of Sward and Fairy III, Xuan Yuan Sword and Ancient Sward Miracles as research objects. It emphasizes three aspects: the actual difficulties of the adaptation of electronic games, the particular narration expression and the social influence.The adaptation from electronic games to TV series is a new artistic form. It skillfully fuses the traditional TV series art with electronic games. Through the analysis to related researches, we find that this artistic form is in its beginning stage.Deeply research and analyze the adaptation elements and difficulties is very significant to development of the adaptation.The adaptation from electronic games to TV series shows the notable difference from previous adaptation technology of TV series. The entertainment, competition,athletics and controllability in electronic games are unprecedented. Narration element is a special manifestation of visual video culture. After electronic games came into being, scholars often put forward kinds of theories about electronic narration.Therefore, this paper emphasizes the discussion and analysis about the new presenting form and creation methods of narration elements in the text transformation process of the adaptation.The domestic adaptation from electronic games to TV series is a reflection of the demands of social diversified culture. Its influences have many aspects. Firstly, it offers new enlightenment to the survival of current TV series; secondly, it strengthens the social identity to electronic games; thirdly, it has become the new pervasivemedium for the traditional culture of China.
