The children’s palace is the place that can provide professional guidance and convenience for primary and middle school students in extra-curricular cultural life,and it is the off-campus site that can cultivate their hobbies, promote their physical and mental development,As the change of the times, the children’s palace has been from the public to the commercial, from the entertainment paradise to cram school children’s palace, the former has walked far away.At this time,the community school children’s palace becomes the "Palace" around the children, it inherits the advantages of the traditional children’s palace, and innovates on this basis, relying on the existing school sites and teacher resources, the management of the teachers and volunteers,the community school children’s palace can carry out a lot of extra-curricular activities in their spare time and holidays,especially to the minor children of low-income families and the migrant workers’ children,by taking part in these activities,their basic skills can be cultivated. The community school children’s palace has effectively solved the problems of failure teaching after classes and poverty life in extracurricular cultural,so that the majority of minors to experience the fun of after-school life,improve their ideological and moral qualities, cultivate interest, the spirit of innovation and practical ability, it is sincerely welcomed by the students, teachers and parents.The research on community school children’s palace from the perspective of activity curriculum has used the methods including questionnaire, interview and observation, the research objects are the students, teachers and parents in two community school children’s palacesl in Lanzhou,the contents of the survey includes the conditions, the curriculum implementation,the curriculum development,the results and the difficulties.In the survey,the researcher sent out 420 student questionnaires,got back 400 and excluded 12 invalid questionnaires, finally obtained 388 valid questionnaires;the researcher issued 50 teacher questionnaires, got back 35 and excluded 5 invalid questionnaires, finally obtained 30 valid questionnaires.At the same time, 12 students,9 teachers(including the presidents) and 6 parents were interviewed. In addition, the researcher also used the non structure class observationfor having a more intuitive understanding of the implementation of specific activity curriculum.Through the survey,the researcher found that the implementation of children’s palace activity curriculums is basically good, the school leaders pay great attention,lots of students’ participation, carrying out activities on time, but there are still some problems to be solved, marginalized, lack of teacher trainings, lack of full consideration of the student’s interests and needs,lack of support from family and community and the single evaluation.According to the cause analysis and some suggestions,the study put forward some improvement solutions:put the community school children’s palace activity curriculums at the right place;base on the needs of students in activity curriculum design and implementation; enhance the teachers’ ability to implement the activity curriculum;exploit and utilize the material and human resources in community;pay more attention to the process evaluation;strengthen the study of activity curriculums of the community school children’s palace.
