The Development Of Opportunity And Challenge In Ningxia Arabic Teaching Under China-Arab States Expo

Both China and Arab nation are ancient civilizations in the world, their official communication began as early as the Tang Dynasty, With the development of economic, trade exchange and communication between China and Arab country more and more frequently, more and more Arabs settle down in the coastal city of China, also their language and culture spread to China with the population flow.The Arabic teaching in China had transferred from traditional mosque style into new school style, nowadays, in higher education, the Arabic discipline system gradually perfect and mature, but compared to other foreign language teaching, it still has large development space and the point which it worths studying and exploring. Today the relationship between China and Arab states develop rapidly, Arabic teaching development has very important significance and value for our country’s national strategy, especially after the establishment in China-Arab States Expo, implementation the strategic shift called " opening to the west " and the great idea was named as " One Belt and One Road " put forward new requirements on our country’s Arabic education. As China-Arab States Expo’s permanent meeting location, Ningxia embodies the new demand for the needs and requirements of the Arabic talents of the development of China and Arab relations in our country directly. In Ningxia area, Arabic education develop rapidly, at the same time it still has many problems need to be solved, therefore, this article put the Arabic teaching in the framework of China-Arab States Expo, discuss the development opportunities and challenges of Arabic education in Ningxia under the new horizon for the relationship of China and Arab countries.This article is divided into four parts:the first part is introduction, which mainly elaborates the significance of selected topic, research status and research methods; The second part give a brief review on the history of establishment of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and Arab countries. This chapter includes three aspects, review the establishment of diplomatic relations before the policy "reform and open"; the relation after this policy and the establishment of China-Arab States Expo. The third part is key point in this article, includes four parts, the first chapter deals with a review on the history of Arabic teaching in Ningxia area, secondly, introduce the present situation of Arabic teaching in public and private schools, and then, discuss the opportunities for development in the teaching of Arabic, finally, analysis the problems and challenges in Arabic teaching in Ningxia area. The fourth part is suggestion.In order to avoid the article is too long, I just choose the typical school to introduce detail, and the curriculums are presented in the appendix for reference.
