Research On The Aesthetics Of The Ugly In Domestic Films Since The New Century

"The appreciation of ugliness" which is an important aspect of aesthetics and has been deliberately to avoid for a long time, became an independent aesthetic category in the 1850s. Since then, artists begin to create with the materials of ugly and absurd in many kinds of art realms. In the 1980 s and 1990 s, the aesthetics of ugly first appeared in Chinese literature and gradually penetrated into the fiffth and sixth generation films. When making use of these materials of ugly, the filmmakers could make corresponding metaphysics effectively. As a result, the divine and prudent aesthetics of ugly in domestic films belonged to the elite culture. Since the new century, With the domestic film industry upgrading and transforming, the aesthetics of ugly is known as popular culture, Civilian Aesthetics and "ecological aesthetics". In view of the current situation, taking think of the background of prevailing global consumer culture, this paper based on the part of domestic films in the new century, especially since 2008, from the two dimensions of the creation and consumption analyzes the Aesthetics of the Ugly in Domestic Films. According to the trend of text analysis from theory, and then by the text analysis to the comprehensive research, taking the film study as a jumping-off point of research, integrating Philosophy, Aesthetics, Sociology, Communication, Psychology and so on, this paper explores the reason, the development, the pertormance, the connotation as well as the aesthetic crisis of the aesthetics of ugly in domestic films etc., by reading film story text carefully.This thesis is divided into four chapters:the first chapter from the cultural transformation, the film’s dual identity aspects summarizes reasons and rheological ugliness in domestic interest appears in the films; Chapter Two from the narrative strategy, characterization, audio-visual language, image code of four aspects of the interest in the domestic concentrated expression of ugliness in the film; Chapter Three from the micro political image science, social psychology aspects of ugliness appreciation taste hypertext spirit connotation; Chapter Four analyzes the possible ways of ecological aesthetics and aesthetics of ugliness crisis reconstruction under the influence of the interest of domestic film to enhance the artistic style of ugliness appreciation taste in domestic movies.
