Animation movie is a new art form and the most expressive category of animation works,which can centralize the output of culture in the form of artistic expression.Since the new century,the environment faced by Chinese animation movies has gradually warmed up,and a large number of people of insight with high enthusiasm have also actively explored the way out of Chinese animation movies.Chinese traditional aesthetics is embodied in many art forms born in Chinese culture and conveys the national spirit.Combined with the unique expression of Chinese traditional aesthetics,Chinese animators explore the internal spirit of traditional aesthetics,seek the implication,and perfect the works with Chinese traditional aesthetic thought.However,it is not easy to introduce Chinese traditional aesthetic thought into Chinese animation movies,in which there are still many misunderstandings of expression.The artistic expression in the works is too rough,and the spirit and connotation presented in the works are one-sided and shallow,which has aroused the general dissatisfaction of the audience.In view of this,this paper takes the Chinese animation movies as the breakthrough point,excavates the close relations between the Chinese traditional aesthetics and the Chinese animation movies by combing the pattern of manifestation of early Chinese animation.This paper analyzes the forms of manifestation of Chinese traditional aesthetics in Chinese animation movies since the new century,and analyzes the expression predicament of Chinese traditional aesthetics in current Chinese animation movies.Through the comparative study with the American animation movies,this paper seeks the expression of the traditional aesthetics of the Chinese animation movies since the new century,and pursues the way to show the national spirit and embody the national style.Based on this,some shallow references are put forward.The paper consists of five chapters.The introduction part introduces the reasons for the topic selection and the innovation of this paper,and combs some of the literature works of animation research;the first chapter analyzes the development of Chinese animation and Chinese animation film from the beginning of its birth to the new century,and explains the concept and significance of Chinese traditional aesthetics;the second chapter analyzes the expression of Chinese animation film to Chinese traditional aesthetics from four angles of animation film picture,sound,narrative and cultural extension;the third chapter focuses on the analysis of four excellent Chinese animation films since the new century,and elaborates on the concrete expression of Chinese traditional aesthetics in them;the fourth chapter analyzes that the predicament of Chinese animation movies in the expression of Chinese traditional aesthetics since the new century comes from its misunderstanding of traditional aesthetics and the predicament of lack of innovation and technical conditions;the fifth chapter puts forward the future prospect of Chinese animation movies to the innovation of Chinese traditional aesthetics,compares and combines the western aesthetic thought,draws lessons from the excellent tradition of the world nation,reconstructs Chinese traditional aesthetics and innovates technological development in the modern environment in order to better express Chinese traditional aesthetics and convey the implication of Chinese traditional culture in Chinese animation movies.In the process of globalization,the development of Chinese animation movies should always stand in the cultural dimension of self.However,it not only needs creators to understand their own culture more,but also needs more opinions and suggestions that are in line with the times.This paper combs the expression of Chinese traditional aesthetics in animated films,the innovation lies in taking the expression of Chinese traditional aesthetics as the basic point of the study of Chinese animated films since the new century.However,there are still some shortcomings in the aesthetic and reception aesthetics of the animation film audience,which is the direction that needs to be further studied in order to explore the direction of animation film acceptance by the public.
