Christian culture has a wide and profound influence on Western world, and its doctrine affects the people’s daily life and thoughts. Regardless of religion or politics, Christianize can be defined as a value, a philosophy, which is called “the Bible philosophy”. This value is observed as “norm”, and penetrates the East since Tang dynasty, but it did not make such a big ideology influence on the East culture because of Buddhism and Taoism. But when these two different values blended, great power had been made.Religion is one of the most common subjects that many artists often use to make films and television programs. Although Christian value does not have such a long history as Buddhism and Taoism, it is regularly mentioned and distilled by many Chinese famous directors, and represented by films or television programs, all these facts are clearly demonstrate the power made by the collision of Eastern and Western ideology. Despite of its conflicts, it can be polished as a great artistic works. This article aims to introduce the influence made by Christian values on Eastern artists and their artistic works in the area of Chinese modern film media.This article starts from audio-visual arts, takes Christian value’s influence on Eastern directors as keynote, studies and discusses the great power mad by blending Eastern and Western values by fanning out from a point to an area.
