The Study On Jiujiang Traitors During The Anti—japanese War

This thesis based on the traitors archives of the republic of China in Jiujiang region archives, which was the core of historical materials, complemented Jiujiang counties annals, republican journals, literati corpus, history datas and so on. By investigating the establishment and the structure of Jiujiang puppet government,analysising the basic conditions of Jiujiang traitors, major crime and punishment of Jiujiang traitors by national government, discussing the complex relationship between Jiujiang traitors and the local society, to deepen the understanding of the traitor group during the Anti-Japanese War.Compared with other regions, the characteristics of Jiujiang traitors mainly from the following three aspects: firstly, Jiujiang occupied regions were later than other places, and Jiujiang traitors appeared relatively later. Secondly, although the policy of the Japanese occupied areas in Jiujiang was increasingly improved, but Jiujiang traitors organizations were imprecise, the traitors network was scattered. Thirdly,Jiujiang traitors were mostly small traitors, they have small personal social impact.Through in-depth analysis of Jiujiang traitors, we can have a more deeper understanding about the complex surface of traitor groups during the Anti-Japanese War.Firstly, Jiujiang traitors were male or female, have old or young, have relatives,incloud countrymen or colleagues. They were from all fields of society. Although their cultural level is not high, but also had some intellectuals. Jiujiang traitors were mainly from the natives place, also had some surrounding provinces. The defect modes of forced possessed more, also some took the initiative to refuge the enemy.Thus, the traitor was a very complex social groups during the Anti-Japanese War.Secondly, some Jiujiang traitors contacted the enemy positively with evil, some were not conscientious with good, some betted on both sides with opportunistic.So the complexity of the behavior of traitors was evident during the Anti-Japanese War. The complexity of traitor groups staff strengthen the traitors social foundation of theorganization during the Anti-Japanese War, but also affected its ruling efficiency, so the diversity of its behavior revealed traitors’ speculativeness.After the victory of Anti-Japanese War, National Government carried out a massive liquidation of traitors, also made some achievements, but the punishment is incompletely, they still have a variety of problems. It seemed to Jiujiang, mainly reflected in a large number of traitors were escaped from prosecution, the trial work was not complete, and the punishment of a part of traitors was too lenient. National Government punished the traitors incompletely, in addition to known the KMT’s policy and the special historical period, the local court often exceeded its powers,administrative power interfered judiciary power, the judiciary also plaintiff for personal gain and so on, these corruption in the judicial system were also important reasons of incomplete punishment.
