Study Of Contemporary China Oriental Esthetics Characteristic Of The Road Movie

Genre film is the inevitable outcome of the Hollywood studio system in the United States, is the embodiment of the film industry is highly developed and mature. Road movie appear as a kind of typical genre film, represented by the United States in the early 1960 s, the western world, it is for its narrative space, the road to saw and heard on the journey, the psychological characters into a narrative content, has been a major influence in the world. In the east of China, also in the beginning of the 21 st century was born more than 20 iconic features of the Chinese road movie. It at the time of transplanting the western road movie to his native, not only for reference and continuation of the type of its inherent characteristics, innovation also out of their own national characteristics. Though, the emergence of China road movie has attracted the world movie circle and academic research, appeared a lot of research, criticism, in the aspects such as economy, culture, society do more analysis, solve the Chinese road movie succession of maternal American road movie, China road movie’s own development problems, and the road movie behind the differences between Chinese and western culture, but these studies is only the Chinese road movie as subservient to the American road movie, not dig its artistic sense and Oriental aesthetic characteristics. To solve this problem, this paper will with aesthetic arguments from three aspects. First, China road movie guided by the Confucian, Taoist thought has formed a unique "away" mode, can be divided into "with the purpose of seeking" and "freedom of no purpose" two; Second, China road movie in formed under the influence of Taoist and buddhist thought and "left" echo "return" mode, can be divided into physical, mental, and spiritual meat one of the three different ways of regression; Third, China road movie has a unique method- poetic lyric, expressing the emotion in intervention and expression of image and artistic conception, let’s see its major difference with western rational expression.
