| During the period of the Republic of China the Chinese Tung oil industry developed quickly, Xiangxi was the most important Tung oil area in China. The thriving of Xiangxi tung oil industry in the republic of China’s had the specific geographical environment and historical origin.For example the area of tung tree planting was expanded and the oil technology was improved. Then Xiangxi formation of tung oil trade market had provided a broad space for its development. The rising of Xiangxi tung oil industry brought an opportunity for the development of other industries, the town economic became prosperity.Then the development of xiangxi tung oil had a bigger change.Such as the new planting method, new production organization,new acquisitions and sales methods.In addition sinotrans line of xiangxi tung oil, distribution and sale were changed in this long history.The government was the most inportant in the development of xiangxi tung oil industry.At first the government encouraged free trade,then after 1939 unified purchase and sale.This thesis is to study the development of Xiangxi’s tung oil in the period of the Republic of China.Starting with Xiangxi’s tung oil production,taking the system of tung oil market as the clue,focusing on the tung oil trade,from the regional economic history,summarizes the development of Xiangxi tung oil,and deeply explores its historical influence.Through that empirical case,this thesis reveals the regional social economy in the macro-historical background so as to promote regional history research.Through the reseach of development of Xiangxi tung oil can find that the improvement of tung planting and production technology,tung oil increase in demand,the government’s encouraging and the improvement of the tung oil market system was the most important reason to the development of Xiangxi tung oil.Based on native resource, the introduction of new technology,setting up the new concept and finding the best way to the regional social economy should be taken. |
