As part of the folk culture, folk arts and crafts has its own strong vitality and distinctive features, and it occupies an important position in the folk custom culture. To a great extent, Xinjiang folk art is a kind of continuation and show for the traditional culture and art. There are many traditional cultural elements in folk art, it mixed the characteristics of practical and aesthetic in a perfect way. Although most of it is “popular literature or art”, but also there is no lack of " spring snow ". Studied folk art in Xinjiang multi ethnic area, you could know that folk art not only reflects the multi-ethnic gathering hundreds of long, Yang style of self, but also reflects the harmony atmosphere in ethnic regions. Based on the multi ethnic villages –Avitain village, the township of A-Shli, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang. In the field survey, the investigators starting from the study of folk arts and crafts in Han, Uygur, Kazak, Hui, four ethnic groups, recording the village folk art heritage status and situation, and forecasting its future development prospects. The investigators hope this research can make a contribution to the protection of folk arts and crafts of Avitain village.The contents of this paper include: introduction, it describes the purpose and significance of this topic, research status at home and on abroad, research methods, research sites and related concept theory and the new ideas of this paper. The first chapter introduces Avitain village folk craft type, first the author introduced the general situation of the Avitain village, then telling a classification of folk arts and crafts of the village. This chapter will introduce the status of folk arts and crafts of the village from the clothing technology, food technology, architectural decoration, harness technology and instrumental music making five aspects. This basically covers the existing types of Avitain village folk arts and crafts. The second chapter mainly from the two aspects of aesthetic and skill features to discusses the Avitain village folk art features. The third chapter introduces the influence of Avitain village folk craft, mainly analyzes the ethnic identity of each other on the folk art and folk craft inheritance and protection. All ethnic groups have different characteristics in the process of interaction, mutual learning. Then, because of the technology, the relationship between people become more intimate. At the same time, it analyzes the causes and consequences of the interaction. The fourth chapter introduces the inheritance, protection and development prospects of the Avitain village folk arts and crafts, currently problem of Avitain village folk craft, what kind of measures to protect the folk art, what is the future trend, all have been described in detail in this chapter. In the process of writing this thesis, the author has visited Avitain village several times to do fieldwork, and lived and ate together with local villagers, collected a lot of first-hand information and pictures about Avitain village folk craft. And now, the folk craft of Avitain village has been impacted by the modern mode of production, a lot of Technology faces leave no successor. Also, the author sets forth his views in the article, and puts forward some protection measures of Avitain village folk arts and crafts. And authors believes that with the support of various departments, folk arts and crafts of Avitain village will have a bright future.
