The Research On Amorous Poems In The Prosperous Time Of Tang Dynasty

The amorous poetry is an integral part of the history of Chinese literature. Though the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty,which sometimes was overshadowed by the popular frontier fortress poetry and pastoral landscape poetry,were not as prosperous as the previous generations,it still played a important role in that time with its unique artistic charm. The thesis will perfect our understanding of this stage of amorous poems and reduce a relatively true historical feature of amorous poetry through studying the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty.In view of the poets in the Tang Dynasty hold the different aesthetics from the previous generations,they attended to keeping from the style of the lewd purport in Qi and Liang dynasties. The amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty kept a proper artistic sense on recognizing and pursuing the beauty of women,which the style,was very different from kinky colorful floating extravagant palace poetry and erotic poetry,was considered as "lust is not prostitution,beautiful but not damage elegant" by its fine writing on beauties and the love feelings. More importantly,the poets in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty injected new vitality for the long-term development of amorous poems through expanding the creative scope of amorous poems and enhancing the aesthetic standard of amorous poems by projecting the glamorous aesthetic enjoyment to righteous monarch,the chant history nostalgia,immortals,compared to chanting. The thesis will study and classify the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty by breaking some ancient misconceptions about the amorous poetry,exploring the origin of the development, carding the choroid of the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty and analyzing the poets who write the amorous poems. It will reveal the unique art style and period features of the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty through outlining the whole picture of the amorous poems during that period of time,tapping the difference between the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty and the previous generations in using the word,and expressing emotions. In addition,the thesis will,by studying four representative poets’ poetry individually,thoroughly understand the especially beauty of the poems on the macroscopic aspect of the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty. Finally,we will brief discuss the spread and influence of the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty to point out the significance of the amorous poems in the prosperous time of Tang Dynasty at that time and later.
